Can I bring my own domain name?
Yes. Aside from your free name.tili.shop domain name, you can link your domain name as well if you have a paying subscription.
Do you sell domain names?
We don’t. It’s simply not our core business. There are plenty domain name providers out there. And we would never be able to offer you a better price. But you can buy a domain name wherever you like and link it to your shop.
Are there any limitations on the free account?
Yes. You can add up to twelve products or make five sales a month, whichever comes first. You’ll also have to use the your-name.tili.shop domain name, and there will be a Made with TiliShop badge in the footer. But other than that, you can use TiliShop in full.
How long can I use the free account?
For as long as you need or want.
Do I need a credit card for the free account?
No, you don’t need a credit card per se. But you’ll need to set up some payment method to activate your shop. We’re doing this for two reasons. One is to confirm your identity and avoid spammers. The second is to be able to charge you when you reach your limits, so your shop doesn’t go inactive after reaching the limits of the free account.
What happens with abandoned free accounts?
If you haven't logged in for three months, we'll send you an email asking you to confirm if you're still interested in keeping your shop open. If you don't confirm, we'll ask you a second time. If you don't reply within a week after that, we'll put your shop on hold.
Is there a discount for yearly billing?
Yes. If want you pay a year in advance, we'll only charge you ten months for the full year. You'll be able to choose the yearly option when you buy the subscription.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
After cancelling your subscription, your shop will go into free mode, which comes with its limitations.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription and reactivate it whenever you want.
Will you delete my data after cancellation?
No. We will never automatically delete your data. If you want your account to be removed, you'll have to delete your account from our system.
When will it be available?
The plan is to have a first release ready for the winter of 2020. The official release is planned for Spring 2021. But here is a little secret. If you register now

Import & Export
Is there a way to import my existing shop?
Yes. You can migrate your shop from a few existing services. You can also import data from most common formats. But the quality of the import depends on the quality and structure of the data we get from you.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can export your products, categories, orders, contacts and site content in various common formats.
Can I pay in a different currency?
For the time being, we accept payments in EUR, GBP and USD. The amount you pay in your chosen curreny won't be subject to exchange rates, so your monthly bill will always be the same.
Do I need a credit card to use your service?
Not necessarily. We accept credit and debit cards. But you can also set up a PayPal subscription or a direct debit with your bank. Whichever payment method you prefer.
Does your fixed price include VAT?
VAT is ridiculously complicated. Depending on where you are located, we will have to charge VAT. Or not. But generally speaking, if you are located in the EU or UK, we are required to charge VAT at the rate of your country of residence. Otherwise, we don't have to charge any additional taxes.
Will I be able to recover VAT charged?
Yes. since we now have to charge VAT in your country of residence, you will be able to recover VAT from your local tax agency if you are VAT registered, just as you're used to. But be sure to check this with your accountant.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
